MHFA England Course
Mental Health First Aid Champion is an internationally recognised training course developed by MHFA England. Designed to help managers and those responsible for others to provide support to those who are struggling.
Structure
- 2 x 3 Hour sessions over 1 day

The online one day course qualifies you as an MHFA Champion:
- Providing the tools to recognise and support the first signs of mental ill health
- Knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness
- Learn the skills to encourage your teams to thrive
- Understand how using the right language and listening non-judgementally will have a positive impact on others
- Skills to support positive wellbeing

By the end of the course, you’ll have...
- A certificate of attendance to say you are an MHFA Champion
- A manual to refer to whenever you need it
- A quick reference card for the Mental Health First Aid action plan
- A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health
Format
The course is split in two manageable sessions each approximately three hours long. It is taught over one day the course is limited to 12 delegates.
Learners will be required to participate mix of group activities, presentations and discussions, each session is built around a Mental Health First Aid action plan. Everyone who completes the course will get a MHFA manual, workbook and a certificate of attendance to say you are a MHFA Champion.
